  • The wild card team is the team with the highest cumulative points scored total that is not yet in the playoffs. Same tiebreakers apply
  • Playoffs will be seeded in the following order: overall record, head to head, cumulative points scored, and point differential in head to head match-up. The seeding will be done regardless of division
  • League will be hosted on ESPN.com
  • The last place teams is each division will be determined by overall record, head to head, cumulative points scored, and point differential in head to head match-up.
  • Trades are allowed but can be vetoed if at least six members of the league find the trade to be an act of collusion. Veto period is 48 hours
  • Trade deadline is set for Wednesday November 12, 2008, week 11. No trades can be made after this date. Free agent pickups will still be allowed
  • Free agents are available to be picked up at any time during the season by anyone
  • A waiver wire is also in effect for players that are released from a current team. A player is on waivers for a period of 2 days after he's cut and owners may submit claims for that player. The owner with the highest priority on the waiver owner list gets the player. Once you get a player off the waiver wire, your priority level drops to the bottom of the waiver owner list. If no owners claim the player, he's put into the free agent pool where he's available for anyone to pick up at anytime. If this is unclear, see the website for more details
  • The waiver wire is also in effect after each week of games. Owners have from Tuesday morning to Thursday night to submit claims for players on waivers. After Thursday, all unclaimed players become free agents and are able to be picked up immediately by any owner
  • Your weekly starting lineup can be changed all the way up to game time, according to ESPN's clock. Once a player's game has started, you cannot put him in or take him out of your lineup
  • Our 16 round draft is scheduled for Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the McCully house. We will also draw for which division each team will be in. The drawing of divisions will occur before the draft so you know exactly who will be in your division before making your picks.
  • See the ESPN website for starting positions and scoring scheme. The rules and scoring scheme are the same as last year, but please read it carefully.
